NYPL Batting leader Tyler Heineman faces a Lake Monster pitcher during the ValleyCats’ recent sweep. Tylers’ .372 leads former teammate Andrew Aplin who was batting .348 when called up to Lancaster. Preston Tucker is also batting .348, although he still lacks the minimum number of ABs to qualify. Jesse Wierzbicki is 6th in the NYPL with a .318 average.
